Have you ever said, "I won't become like my parents?" I said it, too, when I was younger ... much younger. It was bad enough I would catch myself saying something, almost word for word, to one of my children something that one, or both, of my parents had said to me when growing up. Then, just the other day, I looked in the mirror and saw my mother. Well, it looked like her but wearing my clothes and looking back at me with my eyes. Then it dawned on me: I had turned into my parents!
